Kim Tae Woo talked about his recent diet and drastic weight loss

On the May 4 edition of tvN‘s ‘Wednesday Food Talk‘ Kim Tae Woo broaches the topic of his recent weight loss.

“These days, I was trying to lose 5 more kg (~ 11 lbs), but I ended up appearing on ‘Wednseday Food Talk,'” he relayed.  Regarding his reason for starting the diet, the singer said, “One day, I looked in the mirror and thought that this was not a polar bear, rather a pig – just a pig.  I thought it wasn’t great, so I lost weight.  In four months, I lost 23 kg (~ 51 lbs), going from 114 kg to 91 kg (~ 251 to 201 lbs).  I regularly ate food from which I wouldn’t gain weight at regular times.  I ate stuff like brown rice.”

Shin Dong Yup admitted to him, “I do get surprised when I can’t see my toes.”  Kim Tae Woo agreed with, “That’s right.  I was surprised because I couldn’t see them.  Now I can.”
