To mark their 10th year, BIGBANG was supposed to stage a guerrilla gig thinks week to thank the fans. However, YG Entertainment has come out to announce on May 23rd that the gig will no longer happen.
The agency said that they were merely looking at venues when the media got a hold of the scoop.
After deliberating, the band decided that the event would lose its meaning if it wasn’t a surprise event “as planned.” In addition, “in case too many fans turn up, safety became an issue, too.”
For now, YG is back in the drawing board, thinking of another “safer” way to enjoy the band’s 10thanniversary.
